Design harmony in the smallest of rooms

The powder room

Deb spent a significant amount of time designing the powder room and had a clear idea of how she wanted it to look. It was the only space she wanted to be a little quirky amongst the chic sophistication of her Hamptons style interior. In the video below she explains how she created this room.

Upstairs, tucked away in a corner near the dining room is the beautiful powder room. The entrance has been cleverly integrated into the wall by using the same cladding, Scyon Axon. Only the brushed nickel handle gives it away.

Black features as the colour accent, used for the tapware, cistern button, paper holder and even the bathroom brush set. The toilet door handle is in the same matte black.

Design features to note:

  • Micro tiles on the wall behind the toilet
  • Seagrass wallpaper
  • Dogal marble on the vanity bench (same marble as the kitchen bench)
  • Stunning black Moroccan pendant light
  • Up-to-the-ceiling-mirrors
  • Integrated powder room door
