The elements that created a sophisticated master ensuite

In these videos we can see the mix of contemporary and classic elements in Deb’s master ensuite. Deb’s plan was to create a gorgeous sanctuary-like space and we think she has achieved just that.

The master bathroom is located in its original area but Deb has created a much more open space with plenty of natural light.

The wall and floor tiles are more modern, with the rippled effect of the walls tiles reminding Deb of the ripple-effect the wind leaves across the sand at the beach.

The view from Deb’s luxurious bath is stunning with the greens of the back courtyard in the forefront and the ocean in the distance. The automatic venetians control the privacy required from daytime to night-time.

Deb wanted to ensure the bathroom fittings had a timeless, classic look, so she was delighted that Australian bathroomware company, Brodware, had a range to suit perfectly. Brodware are not only an Australian company, but are committed to designing, engineering and manufacturing their products in Australia. Check out the amazing range of classic and contemporary tapware collections by Brodware here.

The importance of consistency

In the video below Deb says, “I think it’s really important when you’re choosing your fixtures and fittings to be really consistent.”

She explains that she chose brushed nickel for the Brodware tapware as it has a warmer look and feel as opposed to polished chrome. It fits the timeless, classic look she was after. Once she chose the nickel, she had to ensure all of the other fixtures and fittings went with it. Tradco supply the brushed nickel round doorknobs for the vanity cupboard, and these same doorknobs are used for all other cupboards throughout the house.
