Add decal decor
An abstract decal Christmas tree is a graphic black-and-white addition to this pared-back home, fancied up with hanging paper stars.

Go red with the linen
Bring out your red tea towels, placemats and serviettes for the vibrancy of Christmas. Or buy a new set and use it year round.

String up the slogans
Word banners come with a multitude of Christmas sayings and lyrics. Or get creative and make your own.

Illuminate the fireplace
Collect candles in an unused fireplace and hang a wreath above. It provides visual warmth and glow, without adding to the heat.

Add glamour with glass and gold
This thin branch is adorned with small white birds, gold and glass baubles, and silver stars, while the jar beside it is filled glistening baubles and boxes wrapped like presents.

Light up, light up
Hang a star-shaped pendant lamp in the window to light up your space and let Santa know there’s someone home.
